Yeah we often talk about fielding as a sign of professionalism, but the word "professional" has a pretty specific meaning in a sporting context

After a really aggressive start what has been the run rate in the rest of this innings? You'd understand the tactics if they were playing several tests and wanted to wear down the bowlers, but in a one-off test?

These girls hardly play any long form cricket though. I am ok with a safety first approach at this stage of development of this team.

I'd be surprised if these Women's teams don't play 4-5 tests every year going forward.

There is good talent floating around in women's cricket.

Very surprised India batted on for as long as they did. Suppose they were looking to maximise the new ball in the evening, but still seems a bit excessive.

Nothing wrong with trying to ensure the draw first and then going for the win. Only 1 Test, and it's overseas under lights.

Could still win by an innings here if the seamers can get them to collapse under lights. Jhulan was bowling beautifully.
