Complete guess and you know how I feel about those things.

Only names I'd reckon there's a genuine likelihood of seeing are:

Cook

Pietersen

Panesar

The rest, really, really is anyone's guess. Not even totally confident on Ian Bell.

1 Phil Jaques
2 Tim Paine
3 Ricky Ponting
4 Michael Hussey
5 Michael Clarke
6 Shane Watson
7 Matthew Wade
8 Brett Lee
9 Mitch Johnson
10 Dan Cullen/Aaron Heal
11 Ben Hilfenhaus/Shaun Tait

Paine & Wade are pretty unrealistic, but I would love to see them playing International cricket in 4 years time, both will be gun imo.

I'd like to see Hughes there as he is a good talent but I doubt he will be picked.

Can't beleive i forgot Marsh tbh, he'll overtake Hussey, Voges & White in the race for a middle order spot in the next season or 2 IMO.

Unless a plane full of cricketers crashes in the next 3 years, i don't expect too many changes to the Australian batting lineup, it's the bowlers that might change a bit. (I'd say the next batch of good Aussie bowlers are still in grade cricket as of 2007) There's no fun in just picking the side from hobart minus Matty Hayden and Gilly, so lets just say a 747 ditched into the pacific....

1. Marcus North
2. Mike Hussey
3. Ricky Ponting
4. Dave Hussey
5. Luke Pommersbach
6. Andrew Symonds
7. Matthew Wade/ Luke Ronchi
8. Brett Lee
9. Aaron Heal/Georgie Hogg (if he's still alive in '11)
10. Ben Hilfenhaus/Shaun Tait
11. Stuart Clark

I think by the end of 2008, we'll have a new set of brothers playing for Australia regardless

Marsh is a fantastic grade cricketer, and is slowly becoming a solid first class cricketer, but i just get the feeling he just doesn't have what it takes to be successful at the next level. That, and he needs to get off the piss

I can't understand why everyone is so hell-bent on making Mike Hussey open, i agree he was a genuine opener in FC cricket but he has done phenomenally well in test cricket as a middle-order bat so there is no reason why he should be moved from that slot.
