Due to the way fixture lists are constructed, I reckon this is impossible. You can change the names of English counties, but not any others.

so thats 2002 databse?. i used them and now i dont get any error but my edits dont seem to take affect in the game for eg.
i changed laras bday to 75, made him right handed opener and changed all his preferences and none haf take affect in the game.

Sure you clicked "save" before you exited? The program doesn't save automatically...

definitely, i pauses for a couple of seconds after i press save, then i quit, re-encrypt data, start icc, nothing changed.

You have to save, re-encrypt the data and then close Magpie.

i have had this problem using the editor. I changed players date of birth to make him younger. eg: make graham thorpe 17. but he retires after 2 years. so the dob, doesnt really work. anyone else had this?

Yes, retirements seem to be stuck in there somewhere - dunno exactly where. Had the same problem with Alec Stewart.
