Why have over two hours suddenly gone?

Maybe I shouldn't bother. Quite likely to take over my life.

(Fwiw, 4 games with Yorks, all victories. Suspect they let you start easy in your first season. Or maybe I'm good at one of these for a change)

First season was entertaining. Won 7 of my first 8 matches mostly on the strength of my batting, with Lyth, Bairstow and McGrath having very good returns and Jacques Rudolph being the top run scorer in the championship, with 8 hundreds and averaging over 70. Brought in a youth player late in the season called K Mitchell, who scored two fifties on debut to save a game and later scored a hundred.

My bowling fell away in the second half of the season with Shahzad losing form and my overseas signing Ryan Harris, who continued to be excellent in LO cricket, averaging nearly 45 in the CC. I failed to close out from three winning positions and ended up 3rd in the table.

Adil Rashid had an absolutely amazing season. He averaged nearly 50 with the bat, scored six fifties and a hundred from #7, and was also oneof the top wicket takers in the league with 65 wickets at 20.41. He still hasn't been picked for England.

Have played ICC since ICC2002, and I'm pretty sure this is the biggest over I've seen. The guy ended up making 131* off 66 with 15 fours and 5 sixes. Immense.

Definitely the biggest over I've ever seen on any ICC version - nicely done!

Absolutely massive. I think my best over in any version of ICC is about 19.

Have hit 6 4s in an over in ICC 2005. Hit 5 4s and a six once in ICC 2005. Got to be my best over.

Had a look through my screenshots to find my best overs. I've got a 27 run over but that includes two extra deliveries, so my best in 6 legitimate balls is 25. Ironically, I managed those feats off the same Dutch bowler in the same one-day league but in separate seasons six years apart.

There's been an update for both the pc and ipod versions with a new World Cup mode.

There's also an iPad version released that makes use of the big screen. I haven't tried this yet as it requires another purchase of the game annoyingly.

I have to say thats extremely good of the developers to make that World Cup update available - they've certainly become more open to feedback over the last few years than they had previously and the amount of new updates are somewhat a testament of that.

Yea, especially when the new version's probably going to be released in 3 and a bit months or so. But then again, they can't really include the World Cup in the new version because that normally starts in April. The Childish Things forums are bustling with activity though, and I think they take note of every suggestion and put it into a list.

So 4 seasons on from my last update, here were my current squads with their stats as of the end of 2037/2038 season.

A few things to note...

- Darkes was still going strong in tests at the age of 40. He scored 4 centuries in his last 6 innings, including his final one. He retired at the end of this season. He also scored a century in his last ODI in the last world cup (I don't select 37-40 year olds in ODI's after a world cup to blood younger players for the next one).

- Allenby's form has gone through the roof since my last update. In the past 4 seasons he's scored 11 ODI centuries and lifted his ODI average by 10 runs.

Good game for Smithy.

In fact, his last 7 FC scores:

77
116
77
41
192
48
63

and I think there's another century just before that, off-chart. Geez we could have used that sort of form a few months back.
