What's the problem with the ICC makers??

yes this is my question.......i have been playing icc since last 4 years.....everytime there is a new icc version announcement,i get excited,but when it comes,it's the bloody same.
Do they ever listen to their fans.? i have mailed them a lot of times,but they don't even bother to reply.:@

Can't they add the domestic teams of other nations too? or provide a simple team editor so that we can do ourselves.(as it comes with various soccer games)

well they have made the whole game....so i think it is not a big job to add some more leagues for them...

but sorry.......we can't do anything..........curse u Chris Child:@

There used to be an "Australian Cricket Captain" with Australian domestic teams. To be honest I think most people are happy with the current options - of course it would be nice to play as your local state or city but I think thats one of the minor issues to be sorted TBH.

But i m damn sure they would have received thousands of mails regarding the demands i mentioned

australian cricket captain was a game of the ICC Series?
I think it was a freeware game.

It was a spin-off to ICC and was a proper game, not freeware.

Grrr, I just signed in so I could answer this. Thanks a lot!

But yes, ACC was of the same series as the original ICC. It was the first cricket management game I bought - came with a free Greg Chappell hat in the same colour as the baggy green and cost me (or my mother) $29.95 if I remember correctly. If you were playing as NSW, you could sign Greg Matthews from club cricket at the start of the second season, and Nathan Bracken is a specialist batsman.

As far as adding more leagues, I think that they'd have to buy the rights to those other leagues.

ooh Lachlan has been around':')

You do not have to buy right for other leagues as long as you do not mention sponsors (like ING cup (already gone I know) ) but for the rest you can use other leagues, colours, and names (there are more Ian Bell's in this world for instance)

Doesn't Cricket Coach have to change the players names though for licencing reasons?

From what I understand, they are trying to sort out licensing issues to add other domestic leagues (dunno how many - probably just Australia) to ICC09.

i just checked australian cricket captain on games & downloads centre.....
i looks good.......

and also comes with an editor....wow!!!!

almost all the prevoious games had editors...... icc 2.....icc 200-2002 magpie......
and acc now.........

why can't the current games have????

i just read on the icc forum.........they are introducing new leagues in the next game ICC 2009.
and are looking for licences now...........great news.......

No version of ICC has come with an editor - they've all been made by third parties.

By the way, if you want to try ACC, it won't work with XP or Vista.

even if all of us icc fans get together......it can be possible ......i know i am quite optimistic....

but looking at the efforts of people on planet cricket on cricket 07......i am sure we too can..:)
