Now, someone's already nabbed the only 'RF' bowler in the NZ category. Where's Richard Sherlock's entry? I'd nab his slot otherwise. But frankly, I'm not prepared to languish as a RFM/RMF when I am nothing but RF.

Alright, decided to start this as we have more than enough players for the World Cup. In fact, I had to leave a couple out.

So, the squad of 15 is as follows:

S Somerset
P Jayawardene
L Howgate
T Loganathan
K Wright
B Pine
J Gray
N Patrick
M Mitchell
D Pares
T Weber
P Gundry
A Sharma
G Thomas
N Pickup

Starting XI for the match versus England:
1. P Jayawardene
2. S Somerset
3. K Wright
4. T Loganathan
5. B Pine
6. D Pares
7. M Mitchell
8. J Gray+
9. T Weber*
10. A Sharma
11. G Thomas

CWNZ all out 209 (46.2)
1. P Jayawardene - 31 (31)
2. S Somerset - 1 (3)
3. K Wright - 4 (7)
4. T Loganathan - 7 (25)
5. B Pine - 70 (100)
6. D Pares - 0 (4)
7. M Mitchell - 9 (15)
8. J Gray+ - 40 (56)
9. T Weber* - 31 (38)
10. A Sharma - 6 (5)
11. G Thomas - 2 (2)
Extras - 8

England 5-210
P Collingwood 44*, A Flintoff 41

A Sharma - 9-0-44-1
G Thomas - 9.4-1-50-1
T Weber - 10-0-52-2
D Pares - 10-1-25-1
M Mitchell - 10-0-39-0

England won by 5 wickets.

Disappointing loss first up. We actually bowled pretty tight and if we had more to defend we could've won easily. We have two minnows next so that should be a good chance to hit form.

The better performers are dropped as we rotate in the players who didn't play against England. It's basically a match to fight for your place in the next match.

CWNZ vs Kenya

Kenya 9 for 261
S Tikolo 99, C Obuya 63
N Pickup - 10-0-42-1
G Thomas - 10-0-49-4
P Gundry - 5-0-41-0
N Patrick - 10-0-54-0
T Loganathan - 5-0-25-0
M Mitchell - 10-2-48-4

CWNZ 7-239 (50)
1. P Jayawardene - 137* (162)
2. L Howgate - 15 (26)
3. K Wright - 6 (10)
4. T Loganathan - 16 (41)
5. S Somerset - 1 (3)
6. N Patrick - 7 (12)
7. M Mitchell - 32 (31)
8. J Gray+ - 5 (6)
9. P Gundry - 15* (14)
10. N Pickup
11. G Thomas
Extras - 5

Kenya win by 22 runs.

Absolutely disgraceful loss. The top order definitely let us down, though a couple of the bowlers could've done better. This loss means we're knocked out of the World Cup. FFS I suck at this game.
