The week deadline seemed too tight, considering that I pretty lazy. Finally decided to get working on the game today and managed to port a few more items:

    1. New batsman coming in is now completed
    2. Game Summary has been completed, by which i mean the scoreboard.
    3. Match ending logic is now complete

Next on, I will take a look at the bowlers as I had hard-coded that.
Will look at the orders after that and finally the commentary.

Thanks mate. I thought no one ever looked at the topic.

Bowlers and commentary should be done tonight, if I find some time.

Commentary file is now being read by the code. I need to incorporate it into the main program, which should take a lot of time. I think in about 7 more days, the game should have been completely ported. I will then need a few guys to test the game and help me with the run scoring algorithm.

Hey thanks for the offer. I had format and reinstall my OS, so things are moving slowly now. I shall get back to you on your offer once I have finished coding the orders section.

Need to find the source code to this game and release it to the public so that someone can continue working on the game, if they want.

    How is it currently played?

I'd definitely like to test out the game if it's still about?

I have a friend who's made plenty of online text based games so could easily put it online for you if you wanted it?

Guess what? Am back and this time I have the game available as an online text based simulator. Its currently in alpha testing mode.

If you guys noticed, then this thread started in 2007. It took me only 10 years to try and complete this. Wow. I am amazed.

Just to showcase the current state of the game, I have uploaded two images. One shows a scoreboard and the other is the homepage after you login.
