Hmm, interesting review. Most people on here have said the batting is much better but bowling is still boring. This review seems to take the opposite view.

I've had a lot more fun bowling than batting.

Looks like the players are still on steroids… Asif and Shoaib take note. Also when will a cricket game feature accurate player models and heights, don’t even think the new Lara will. Ridiculous how Sarwan is the same height and body physique as a Stuart Clark.

When playing Ashes 97 or Cricket 97 ..not sure which one.. I really enjoyed that game. Ever since then i did not find a decent cricket game..

But this Cricket 07 is definitely different and i am enjoying it really.. I have tolerance for some bugs in the game or any game..

Grab this game at all cost.

Btw i usually choose batting and 'autoplay' for bowling..

Good job EA..

You're missing out then, I thought bowling was the best part of the game.

at least this game has auto play... i remeber playing ricky ponting cricket and getting so angry and eventualy turning hte ps2 off out of frustration. with cricket 05 it was good to no that auto play was there as a last resort

i was wondering...

i just want a cricket game that is ... Clark gets a wicket, WOOT... sorry easily distracted, anyway, easy and fun to play. I dont realy mind about gameplay, so is Cricket 07 > than BLIC 07 for this?

Hard to say since BLIC 07 isn't out till March, but going by prior releases, I'd say BLIC will be easier to play and get into.

Lol. That sounds like a contradiction. You say gameplay doesn't matter but you like a game which is fun and easy to play, surely that is the gameplay. Anyway, my first impressions are that Cricket 07 is probably just about the best game to date although it's not exactly loads better than Cricket 2004 (haven't played 2006). The gameplay is quite fun although the advancements are not that big. I'm finding 2 star difficulty too easy so will try 3 stars next.

I think he meant he wants something that he can get into easily and doesn't really care about the realism or how difficult the game is. Maybe something a bit more complex than $tickcricket.

Oooh avoiding the filter...burn me
