ICC 2005 photo issue

Hi. Just with the issue of photo's in ICC2005. I wrote to childish things and they very kindly gave me an answer.

I asked how come there weren't any photos. Here is the answer.

Unfortunately we were not allowed to use player photos this year. The rules on use of player likenesses have become very strict due to increased commercialism in cricket. It would have required individual permission from every player.

The version that is being released in the box is exactly the same as the one you download. We are able to release the download one earlier because we do not have to go through the printing and distribution process.

I guess it's fair enough - FM has similar problems.

Still, they might have "accidentally" left the code in so we can add in pics for each player ;)

Funny thing is, I bet if they had the photos and you could click on them to get the graphs up as they are now, you'd leave them set to graphs.

The photos are a great bit of polish and add feeling to the game but they're not actually that helpful.

What they should have done is had Andrew Strauss's picture and then the coding could have gone into the game.
