Need Help with old Auidogenic Game.

I need some help editing teams in Allan Borders cricket for PC. i click on the edit/create teams function in the menu and select a team to edit and it just takes me back to menu and does nothing. i tryed directly editing the files using notepad but its all written in mumbo-jumbo symbols and stuff. i dont know what to and i really want to edit the teams. Any help would be greatly appriciated.

Fair Go, this game is very fun play. And i'll have you know i also own Shane Warne 99, Cricket 96,97,2000,2002 and 2004. :p So There.
