The Webbers final game of their Austrian Tour was expected to be the toughest of all..
Leoben holding Arsenal to a 2-2 draw only days earlier were expected to test every aspect of the Webbers line-up...
A early end to the Aussie tour for Agemaster as he was called in to replace the injured Ash Chaulk, Age was immediatley tossed into the starting line-up with a reformed team starting...
For the 1st time the Webbers opened the scoring...
On 19 minutes Agemaster got a powerful header to a corner from Mr Wright to open the scoring...
1 nil at the break, however on 63 minutes the Webbers secured their 1st win, when Haffy beat the defence and was left one on one with the keeper. The young striker held his nerve to slot home the Webbers 2nd..
A 2 nil win for the Webbers was a great result and has fans hoping for a successful season ahead...

Webbers Reserves push for 1st team Claims!!!

The Webbers Reserves next match was against Doncaster Rovers (Victoria) and the Webbers dominated from the 1st minute...
A brilliant cross from Paid The Umpire to an onrunning Nibblet opened the scoring. Nibblet calmly slotted it home with only 57 seconds gone on the clock..
The second came on 19 minutes when Mr Mxyzpltk hit a long range shot which found the keeper missing and the score was 2 nil...
Then to round it off what a brilliant shot from the edge of the area by Chris Hinton. The keeper and the defence had no chance of stopping it...
3 nil, A very convincing win from the Reserves with a few players really pushing for 1st team selection...
Mr Mxyzpltk with the MOM award but was not alone with Nibblet, Cloete, Hinton Pickup and Walsh all standing out...

Webbers perform Scottish HIT & RUN!!!

The Webbers paid a hit and run visit to Scottish UEFA Cup hopeful Livingston today..
Webbers coming off a big win over DSV Leoben were in for another tough match, but proved they have metal as well as class..
Cricketweb defended stoutly in a game where shots on target came along as often as a honest polititian...
The Webbers defence was as strong as ever and held on enough to make the Lord of Darkness 73rd minute strike the winner...
A nice ball to LOD from Dark Hunter had LOD one on one with the keeper, he turned and slotted the ball comfortaby passed the man with the gloves to give Webbers the 1 nil win..
A Man of the Match performance from midfielder Nnanden led the way, but plenty of players are putting their hands up for the seasons opener only 2 weeks away...

Webbers Reserves struggle against lowly Olympic

The Webbers Reserves continued their Australian tour with a match against the Canberra Olympic side..
Looking to maintain their unbeaten run the reserves struggled early and looked to be feeling the effects of a couple of games in a couple of days..
The game was less then entertaining, with the crowd of 187 getting very restless..
The match had no real standout moments nor performances, and went into Penalties after the scores were still level after 90 minutes...
The Webbers were found wanting when it came to the spot in a less then inspiring shootout. Only 3 from 10 shots from the spot were successful...
Canberra winning the shootout 2-1
Overall a dissapointing result for the Webbers, and will have 1 more shot to impress in their final match against the Queensland Lions...
