Very talented player who I thought had fallen off the radar

However, seems as if he has been plying his trade on the minor tours in the US for the past 8 years or so

Good luck to him as pro golf is a tough gig if you arent one of the relatively few guys that make a living out of it

Oh wow that's awesome. Channel 7 were saying he's the first ever Aboriginal player to qualify for the PGA?

Yeah he has been slugging it out over there for a while. He did well on the Aussie Tour when he first started and then headed to the U.S via Europe. used to get pretty homesick travelling around I think and would head home for a visit more often than maybe he should have. Has also been unlucky to miss out a couple of times on getting to the PGA Tour before.

He's a very approachable and down-to-earth bloke. Would be great to see him go well this year. He's married to an American girl and I think settling down in the U.S has helped him a bit too.

Yeah apparently he is. His mum is Aboriginal and teaches at the local school. They're a really nice family actually and have given Scotty a lot of support along the way.

Scotty Gardiner currently 8 under with 3 holes to go in the second round at the Sony Open. In 7th place. Hopefully he finishes well and has a good weekend.

Edit: **** it, jinxed the bloke. Will probably double 16.

He ended up coming 15th...not a bad start to the year. Hopefully he keeps it going.

Do I lay off on Justin Rose, seems pointless really, he's a decent front-runner and there's no real quality behind, oh and I've backed Jaidee anyway.

    Interesting build-up to the Masters

Tiger back to no. 1, Rory off the radar, Rose @ no. 3, Donald missing his first cut in Europe and Westwood outside the top 10

Plus a free bet on Rory.

Really looking forward to it too. Hopefully will be a proper duel between Tiger and Rory, with others playing well around. Wouldn't be surprised if Phil was involved too, and the Masters probably suit a few of the better English players.
