Singh's performance was immense as he had the worst of the conditions. Tiger has certainly looked more of his old self this tournament, getting the clutch putts. Glad I put 25 quid on him at 10s.

Reckon it's too early to call

Course is a beast and if it blows a gale, anything could happen

Be a good replacement for the Olympic viewing, better than watching those old slappers Spice Girls at the closing ceremony anyway.

Yeah, he's not out of it, but he really needs a great end to his third round.

Talk about cheapening the event

Remember when AC/DC knocked back the chance of performing at the Sydney Olympics because they couldnt use all of their sound system and didnt want to give a dodgy performance

Spice Girls' only concern would be whether the tape decks are working because they'd be ****ed if they actually had to sing

which he didn't get...he is too far back in these benign conditions, rory will win his second major fairly comfortably...adam scott may challenge, not so sure about petterson or van pelt...

Well he didn't have a terrible finish either, Rory is as capable as shooting a 65 as an 85, so still anyones.

sure which is why i specified the benign conditions...i don't see him collapsing on a soft course with very little wind...

Rory played very well this morning but with the exception of Petterson, the rest did their very best to chuck it away

Singh and Woods (despite being 1 under on the day) were both all over the shop and I'd be very surprised if they can turn it around whilst Scott needs to start holing putts

Hope it starts blowing this afternoon because that will bring a lot more into it

Anyway, can see Stricker making a run but no-one else really filling me with confidence

Jeez Rory has scrambled unbelievably well today

On another day he'd be well over par but he literally hasnt missed a thing

Fantastic play by Rory over the last 27 holes or so with his short game having to be seen to be believed

Other guys played tee to green just as well but he kept making incredibly difficult chips and 8 foot putts look ridiculously easy

Great thing was that he didnt waste any time either - just walked up, had a brief look and drained everything

In the spirit of the Olympics, I'd like to give the gold medal for worst broadcast of a sporting event to CBS for the golf

They obviously only had a few cameras set up around the course plus a few guys on foot so, as a result, they showed the same players and holes ad nauseam

Many of the contenders were not shown at all whilst I lost count of the number of ordinary shots being played into 17 by guys 6-13 over par - ****ing disgraceful and I have no idea why a network would spend big bucks acquiring the rights and then scrimp on the broadcast itself
