What a month for rednecks everywhere with Campbell Newman winning the Qld election and Bubba Watson the Masters.

I know very little about golf but was cheering on Bubba because a lot of people in the bar I was in had money on him. I can also appreciate his shot out of the trees on the final play-off hole as I thought for all money he was gone.

Masters is the best tournament

Superb golf course + elite field = drama and worthy winner

Yeah it's a wonderful event isn't it?

Have a mate who went over ten or so years back. Said it was great, though he spent the first two days shagging some bird in town, then was so hung over on the Saturday he fell asleep under a tree and was asked to leave.

Said the Sunday was great though.

Incredibly hilly course, apparently.

Meh the Mastrs is entertaining, but in many ways it's a joke, hit the ball wildly and you shouldn't have a shot, Bubba and Phil can pull off great shots, but should be punished for spraying it.

Does anyone else think Petterson and Knost should just get in the Sumo ring to sort out their differences.

Still Colt Knost and Harris English must be up there with cool golfing names, along with fred Funk, and brett swarzrock.

Like Ryo Ishikawa up there for me, like the way American commentators say it.

Normal players would've been punished - they simply played miraculous shots to escape

Well done to Kaymer for turning up at the German fed Cup Tie.

I can see his thinking, Adam and Rory have hot tennis players, let's take a punt, Georges, Kerber or Petko, got to have a chance with one of 'em surely?
