Not to mention the epic duel with DeChambeau at Bay Hill before challenging for the Players. You're right, he really dropped off fast and I'm pretty certain you can tie that in to his first fat pay cheque from LIV. Bubba another who is miles from where he was.
Bubba had a significant knee injury and was out for nearly a year

Find it hard to believe that the LIV money changed all that much for Westwood as he should have been a very wealthy guy already

The amount of money they earn off the course is massive

What's all the negativity about a golfer having a faith. Cricketers often thank God ect in interviews after wins or good performances.
I don't think the fact it's a golfer has anything to do with it. "I praise the lord for my god-given talents (that I have spent thousands of hours practicing to acquire)" is a funny take regardless of the sport.

Even you and Pickleball???

For those of us who don't have a faith it does seem a little weird. When Scheffler talks about his 'buddies' reminding him that it didn't matter if he won or lost because "his victory was secure on the cross" is just something I don't get.

Also, when you refer to 'buddies' it's normally those you meet for 6 pints in a pub, not the ones you sit around reminding each other how strong your faith is.

I watched the McIlroy and Aberg pairing last night. One of them had it on a piece of string and -5 was the worst they could've scored. The other hacked it around, scrambled superbly and somehow got it to -4, easily the best they could've achieved.

If Mrs Scheffler had dropped early, Aberg would've won the Masters by 3 shots in his first ever Major. His swing is to die for, his pace of play admirable, his on course persona a breath of fresh air. Hard to see how he doesn't win a strong of Majors in the next few years.

Totally understandable. There's some real dross in the Masters field, like Freddie Couples for example. Just a shame that two of the LIV boys couldn't even beat the 64 year old with a chronic back problem.
Spieth, Hovland & Thomas were beaten by a guy who plays once a year:laugh:
