spieth surging...have a feeling he is headed for another dominant performance...

damn, looks like we jinxed him...he is still in the hunt though, so is rory...reed and leishman has put some distance between themselves and the others for now...woods just barely made the cut and will not be a factor over the weekend...

High quality leaderboard right now...if all or most stay in the hunt tomorrow, it’s going to be an exciting finish...

reed, mcilroy, fowler, rahm, watson, fleetwood in front...leishman, spieth, stenson stagnant or slow progress, that won't get it done today...

reed & mcilroy in the final group, fowler and rahm one group back...the winner should come from the final two groups...stenson and fleetwood are too far back and i can't imagine all 4 of the players ahead of them backing up enough for them to have a chance...rory having been here before certainly has an edge but the others certainly have the hunger for a major that can negate that edge...

Roary has a great chance of the Slam

Reed might crumble under the pressure tomorrow.
Rickie played like a champ, but I don't think he can handle the final round.
Lieshman for the win tomorrow

reid bogeys the first, mcilroy has a spectacular save...tightens it up a bit, rahm and fowler only 4 behind now...spieth with a fast start, 3 birdies in 5 holes...

mcilroy birdies the second but missed a great chance at a lead-tying eagle...rahm off to a terrific start, now in double figures...

this is between 5 players now, the final two groups and spieth...casey flirting with the 18 hole course record before coming unstuck on the last three holes...putting letting rory down again at augusta...missed so many short putts today...
