Ouch. Only one green is more than 10 from vertical and horizontal edge. Good luck going at pins today.

Backing the guys with good short game and putting this week, so can't see blokes like Sergio or even Rory winning this week. Length isn't going to be the way to beat this course. Also, the fairways are so hard that there's no massive advantage for the longer hitter. Reckon we could see a good showing from Luke Donald, Francesco Molinari and Jordan Spieth. They're my 3 picks.

If the short game is going to be so vital then Mickelson comes right into it. Off to a flyer too but he is probably a couple of years past his best as regards winning one of these now.

Yeah, Lefty should definitely be up there. Hitting it great ATM. Also seems to be playing a bit easier than everyone was thinking. The greens are holding the ball a bit better than it was thought, and the rough doesn't look too bad.
