2019-20 English Premier League season will kick-off this Friday (9th August). Last year, we saw an epic 2-horse race between Liverpool and City that went to the final day with Merseyside outfit missing out by a single point.

However, did Liverpool had one of the best premier league seasons of all time statistically? Read the numbers behind Liverpool’s magnificent season.

Oh dear. Let's turn this on Sledger's Arsenal. Champions Leagues: 0 (Liverpool 6), Arsenal Invincibles points: 90 (Liverpool 97).

They finished remarkably second, didn't they?
Yes. But it was a great all round effort statistically. At the start of the season nobody thought any team would get this close to City based on their 2017-18 dominance. We should appreciated that8-)
