Wrong forum, this definitely belongs in "Cricket Humour"

mind you looking at some of the abilities shown in the UCCE games, you may have a chance of First Class Cricket!

    Hahaha harsh Marc...

Im busy doing a Henry Olonga at the moment after falling foul of the college's cliqueist selection policy..
So maybe this long period of rain is actually quite good...

If any of you are wicketkeepers or have kept wicket before please could
    you let me know?

    Two things here:
    1) I hope that's not batting order..
    2) Lack of keeper doesnt fill me with that much confidence...

    Still can't wait! - By 'eck, I'm cricket-deprived!

10 is a bit low for me, but ive found myself occupying that spot at college recently.. hardly surprising really..

Neil, have you ever played a freaking match before?

Only you're a bit high just because you got selected...

It's only my second game since August 2002... and the other was a 12-over Midweek slog.

Chardstock 135 all out (37.2 overs)
    Talbot 4-11, Heath 2-13, Pickup 1-19

    Exeter University 4th XI 138-1 (29.1 overs)
    Byrne 58, Loader 52

The boundaries were thirty yards - no exaggeration - and the track was an absolute pudding. Very low, very damp, very green, very slow. I was turning it two or three feet, and the wicket came when an attempted cover drive was outside edged to point. Should've had another, but it was dropped over the boundary by square leg.

    2-13 from Rik lol...

I prefer being indoors doing my "exile" than batting on some of the puddings that are everywhere...
