Yeah but Parra had a **** load of chances to win that game. It was a turgid affair for 70 minutes with neither side playing any footy. They deserved to lose when they coughed up the pill thrice in a row coming out of their own end in the last 12 minutes or so.

Jeez it was a low game. Stark contrast to the same game between those two sides on Easter Monday last year, that was a beauty.

Why do the NRL teams strip themselves of their identity by wearing a different jersey every week?

    It just leaves you cold

Like players signing for other clubs, a couple of weeks into the season

Again, it just leaves you cold

its a marketing thing, the clubs make more money from diehard fans buying the different jerseys each year

would be so much better if they could stick to the same one

yeah the cowboys looked very good tonight, and they're winning in sydney regularly now which should put them in the top 4 by the end of the year

also the dragons are big time phoneys, no chance of making the 8

nothing better than really jammy kick tries and the bulldogs not getting penalties until they've already lost

How is everyone going in tipping comps this year? I'm going terribly, haven't start the season this bad ever.

Just on the Blews halves, who is everyone picking? Watching Reynolds and Hodkinson this year, I can't see how both (or either really) keep their spot.

They will be picked, we'll get destroyed, they will be entirely blamed and hence both dropped, then the two new halves picked for Game 2 (Probably Pearce/Whoever) will suffer the same fate and Reynolds/Hodkinson will be picked again in Game 3.

Such is the cycle of the NSW halves.

My Oz side: INGLIS JOHNSTON JENNINGS CHAMBERS DUGAN THURSTON CRONK SCOTT SMITH WOODS CORDNER HOFFMAN PARKER
    RES LEWIS THAIDAY BIRD MERRIN

The team might need another prop on the bench to combat a likely big NZ team. So that could Myles or Tamou or someone like that.
