Odd tournament, Dubai. I suppose Federer fans have to take what they can get.

Huge win. Came back from the dead against both Djokovic and Berdych. Good on Federer. I only watched the berdych match but he looked impressive.

Since Rafa beat Novak in the US Open final, Rafa vs. Novak has been 2011 all over again. Rafa's forehand vs. Novak's backhand, and Novak's backhands wins convincingly.

Novak's gotta be confident heading into clay court season.

He was up a break in the 5th in last year's semi. I'm sure he feels that was the one that got away.

Probably just like Rafa feels Aus Open 2012 was the one that got away from him when he led Novak by a break in the 5th.

Ferrer just knocked off Rafa in straight sets in Monte Carlo quarters Even after Ferrer won the first set I figured Rafa would work his way back into it and beat Ferrer in 3 as he usually does on clay. Crazy.

Roger and Tsonga playing a very intense match right now - into the third set we go. Roger fighting back from the brink.

Wow Fed, failed to convert 16 break points, failed to convert 3 set points, and yet still managed to keep focus and win the second set in a tiebreak, and then comfortably win the third set. So many other players would have lost their ****.

That's what separates the good and the very great.
