Killing it in the fifth. Vintage Wawrinka here. Losing that tie breaker seemed to have done it for Murray. Better game than many imagined. Important to remember this is Murray not in great form. Still took it to the fifth. Champ.

Agreed, great drama but the quality was rather patchy. Wawrinka stepped it up a couple of levels in the fifth, and he had his chances to win all 5 sets.. Murray did well to push him so hard playing nothing more than steady, percentage tennis. Wawrinka was shanking his forehand miles out of the court at times, and is overheads were absolutely dreadful, luckily for him, he found his rhythm in the fifth and ran away with it.
