Troicki is capable of pushing Stan tbf
Well he took a set off him but that's all..
Murray having an interesting first set, gone to a tie breaker , light is poor ,bit drizzly. Murray takes it .
Hope it's not going to be another 5 set struggle..

Murray through in 3 sets so the break didn't upset his play...and the Gasquet-Nishikori game has been a good one , Gasquet 2-1 up and 2-1 up in the fourth..

Gasquet v Murray will be fantastic fun, I'd love to see Gasquet winning it, obviously that won't happen, but would be a great story if he did,, just Murray, Wawrinka and Novak left to beat.:)

Really bad storm around Western Europe today. The floods killed four people near Stuttgart, and the remnants of the storm are heading to Paris.

So yeah no play guys

And just as I type it's official, RG calls off play.

Let's hope there is some play tomorrow ...terrible news as regards the deaths too.

Hoping Gulbis or Thiem can pull off a miracle and stop Novak.
Genuine question - why?

Last year Stan winning was so much fun because he just pulled out one of the most ridiculous performances to stop Novak, but why do you not want to witness history? Novak is clearly an ATG, and deserves a French. Sport is too unpredictable to just assume he will eventually win one (injuries, random youngsters turning great etc.).

Novak will never have a better chance to win than this year (notwithstanding having made the final in 2012, 2014, and 2015).

yeah this is the best chance for him...and yes he deserves to complete the career slam...if he wins, he would also have a good chance at the calendar slam...

Well, it would be nice to see a youngster like Thiem have a breakout. Other than that, it's just a "cheering against the overwhelming favourite" thing, no particular reason.

I'm not hugely bothered if Novak does it or not, but in the end it's not abnormal to not want history to be done, if you're not an big fan of the player.

Unique things become less unique when they're done a lot.
