Which ignores the fact that the reason shes allowed to live in Australia is because she had those skills in the first place. I'm sure she wouldnt be welcomed by your government if she was some bum from the streets of an obscure Chinese village.
Which country wants a bum as an immigrant anyway?

It has nothing to do with the present population , but Australia in the pioneering days did.

sorry dude but Sania is still rated 97 and everyone's top 20 material if they work hard enough mate..

Oh and by the way Australia's best table tennis player Jian Fang Lay is ranked 79 and amongst the tennis world people think she's on the up!!!

Concentrate on getting ur billion people to build a good cricket and hockey team first... :D
she is already 86 in the world after the first round victory and i think will reach into 70's with the victory over kusnetsova :p

She will be # 77 after her win over Sveta. The thing is she has only 19 points to defend till Aug , as she playing inthe lowest level of pro tennis at this time last year i.e., $ 10 k futures as she was ranking above 450 at this time last year. She can get those 19 with just a win in either Indian Wells or the week after. So whatever points she garners in the next 5 months will increase her point tally as there are virtually no points dropping off and so we could see her really rise in the rankings with her potential

^ I think we can blame the British crown for that..
I wouldnt use the word 'blame'. You speak as if its a bad thing to take in people who are most in need of employment/new lives etc. How is it equality to accept super-qualified professionals and turn away refugees ?

I saw the first match of Sania Mirza (a complete match) and was very impressed even though she lest pretty badly (6-2 6-2). The thing is she has an awesome forehand and the match was controlled by her racket. It was she who was making the good winners but being out of sorts, made far more errors and lost out.

Definitely a player for the future.

**** man there's some good value in that!
Andre Agassi at 67 would be worth putting a couple of bucks on and so would Nalbandian at 34 bucks. Carlos Moya at 51 looks alright to

Agreed.

Wonder if Federer can go all the way this year at the French. The Clay tends to blunt the big servers a little, but Federer has the all round game to win it IMO.

i dont think anyone longer than 10-1 can win it, guys like Ferrer, Mathieu, Starace etc.... all have a chance of making the quarters or the semis, but the winner will come from coria, federer, ferrero or nadal imo...
