it was always going to be williams-williams at wimbledon...i am proud to say i haven't watched any of the women's matches so far, hope to continue that streak....

Got the afternoon free so I can veg infront of the tv and watch both matches..
...really want Haas to win-know he wont of course,but it would be nice...not that I have anything agianst Federer tho...probably the underdog thing...who knows.... ![]() ..and not too fussed on the other game...probably end up shouting for Murray...maybe!

Yeah, Dementieva didn't choke. She tightened up a bit at times, but Serena just willed herself to win.
I was just saying that, at least in the last 6 months, I can count 3 matches that Serena has ended up winning despite being match point down. Stosur, Wozniacki and now Dementieva in 2009 from what I can recall. Last edited by Jono; 03-07-2009 at 02:32 AM. |
