Second Maradona.

Nominate:

Glen "Cripple Kicker" Hoddle
Robin "When The Girl Says No; Molest Her" Van Persie
Vinnie "****" Jones
William "Tiny Tears" Gallas
Ryan "Not That Kind of Player" Shawcross
Sinisa "Too Racist Even for Nazio" Mihajlovic

Norwood's on Fire
What's this based on?

He was a cracking player for us then got a bad bad leg break and that was that, though if he'd liked football a bit more probably could have come back from it. Word is he was one of those guys who was good at the game but not a huge fan of it.

Can't help but think you've been itching for something like this.

Anxious to hear Scaly's noms.

Apologies big F. From my point of view, "infamous" covers more ground than just thug, **** **** or wanker. Best and Friday were infamous for reasons other than thuggery, criminal activities or wotnot, but surely they still count as infamous?

Iain O'Brien only infamous for using his crotch to defend a cricket ball.

Nah you're good mate - on reflection you can't go around taking a dump in Mark Lawrenson's bag without being infamous

A related nomination for Micky Gooding, for pissing in Emlyn Hughes tea when he was his manager at Wolves

I just don't think spending more time playing up to the fans of your old team, than actually doing your job for your current team - and then justifying yourself by stating in an interview that your old team's fans "mean much more" to you than your current team's, is any way for a self respecting professional to conduct himself.

This when he was at Wigan?

Aye. It was pretty much the final straw before he left for you. In fairness, there were sections of the Wigan crowd that treated him unfairly, and he didn't have the best relationship with Jewell, by all accounts. But quite publicly belittling the consumers of your product isn't really acceptable behaviour from any public-ish figure.

Thank you. Can't believe they hadn't been seconded already. A bigger pair of ****s is pretty hard to find.
