Battle of the Infamous, allsports edition

I'd like to have 48 of the worst across all sports excluding cricket (well, maybe Boycott). As an added bonus we can stand back and see what a relatively gentlemanly sport cricket is.

Since sporting literacy is a diverse thing, I think the nominating/seconding system would be necessary here. Each member gets five nominations and secondings.

Again, pure personal sentiment (i.e. who's a bigger ****) is the only criteria to vote for someone.

    May as well start.

    Nominate:

    Lance Armstrong (cycling)
    Michael Vick (NFL)
    Diego Maradona (Association Football)
    Wayne Carey (Australian Rules)
    Tonya Harding (ice skating)

Your fave. The one you love to hate. Profane monologues justifying your decision are welcome.

Had you heard that someone's making a film about Robin Friday? One of the people involved was being interviewed on Five Live this morning.
