    Week Twenty-Three Update

A pretty good week on the whole, for once. Only two of our number who were arsed failed to make the passmark and there were a couple of very creditable 8/10s.

The worst misses of the week were marc, Burgey and cpr, who didn't take T*ttenham to beat the Geordies, and grecian, GIMH & fred who manged to convince themselves Man U wouldn't beat the Toffees.

No real exception punting in a week where the favourites generally held sway and no-one took the couple of underdogs who did get up. For the record tho the best get was the seven of you who called the Canaries/Cottagers stalemate. CBF to list you all, but jolly well done and all that.

    Weekly

    Sean 8
    Pothas 8
    NUFAN 7
    morgie 7
    Somers 7
    Marcuss 7
    DoG 7
    grecian 6
    Halsey 6
    Burgey 6
    fred 6
    bi 6
    GF 6
    marc 5
    Brumby 5
    cpr 4
    GIMH 3

    Vimes 3

Weekly extras for their 8s to Sean and Pothas, his first since he rejoined our ranks.

No change in our top two with both managing 7s but a 7 of his own is enough to move NUFAN above Hals into the medals.

At the foot a decent half-dozen for Burgey moves him to within two of an ailing Cozza, who could only muster half that.

    Overall

    1) Somers 135.02
    2) DoG 132.05
    3) NUFAN 131.03
    4) Halsey 131
    5) marc 128.04
    6) Brumby 128.02
    7) Marcuss 125.04
    8) grecian 124.03
    9) bi 124.02
    10) fred 123.02
    11) cpr 122.04
    =12) Vimes 120.01
    =12) Pothas 120.01
    14) Sean 118.03
    =15) morgie 112.02
    =15) GF 112.02
    17) GIMH 109.02
    18) Burgey 107.01

    Week Twenty-Four Fixtures

I'm stretching a point and combining two weeks' fixtures into one as it seems daft to have a round of one fixture.

Do not argue with an idiot. He will drag you down to his level and beat you with experience.
