Knockaert scored the late winner that put them in the playoff's too against Forest. Then won the penalty albeit with a dive.

Was a good game too. Such Drama.

Can see Watford coming up now on the back of this momentum.

Not sure if that is a good thing, as they have basically circumvented the system loaning 13 players or something from outside the country because their was no limit upto this year and because they are owned by common firm with Udinense and Granada.

Also had 2 games with late drama back to back now. Could have almost been directly promoted before their keeper ****ed up and now this.

Can't say it really bothers me, is no worse than just having wealthy owners and buying loads of players.

Would like to see Brighton go up though.

But they also have one of the best youth development systems in the country and, in a major break from tradition, play some really nice stuff.

Who have Watford produced? Palace have a much better academy.

Their better football comes basically from their loanees too.

Didn't Watford a couple of seasons ago have something like 15 of the 25 players they used in the season come through their youth set up?

Both Watford and Palace are the benchmark for all the other London/Southeast clubs in much the same way that Crewe are for clubs in the Midlands/Northwest. My lot had 3 products of our youth in the squad all season ( Taylor, Goldson and Bradshaw) which isn't bad but I look enviously at what Crewe do.

Fergie's last ever Old Trafford match day squad and he's omitted Rooney completely. Rumours going around that Rooney and Jones had a training ground bust up yesterday. Writing looks to be on the wall.

Meh, **** him. Today is about Fergie and Scholes.

How the hell would you know anything about the relative quality of the Palace and Watford youth systems. Jesus christ, know your limits eh?
 Why can't i know? Or Evaluate based on the players they have produced? Or based on How their teams are doing at the U18 or u21 level consistently? How many tournaments abroad each play in at the age groups even below that? Or by speaking to people who follow and track these things particularly?

Also, anyways many of the Watford youth products aren't going to get much game time or are getting even now with the plethora of loanees from Udinense and Granda are they. You know how many players Udinense has registered on it's books? How their owners operate?

Anyway given the scorelines today it looks like the CDMs v Wigan match is becoming even more important for both sides - a draw not enough for either.

For the record, Watford were the original route one, lump it up to the big man, anti-football purveyors. Before Wimbledon and before the Republic under Big Jack.

Steve Sherwood would smack it downfield and Luther Missitt would knock it down for Nigel Callaghan or Corrin's boyfriend.
