Diving clampdown strikes again. Seems like referees are taking an approach that if its not a foul it must be a dive. Now I'm not sure either way with Sturridge there after four replays so I don't know how the referee can be. Needs a rethink.

Nah ref got it spot on. Contact, but still a definite dive. You can see the exact moment where he thinks "bollocks I've lost it, need to fall over".

Completely disagree. Ref has no business booking him there.

But what a finish. Been some game. Can see more goals in this yet.

Reina's genuinely absolutely terrible this season. Like, Almunia standard.

Strange on as well as he's not at the age you'd expect a keeper to decline.

Great game, oddly very similar to the reverse fixture. Poor result for Citeh.

Actually he's been pretty good this season - the 2 before he was a liability.

He's cost us the game and that is now 2 matches we've pummelled city and gifted them points.

Gerrard...what a player. He is having a brilliant season.

I wonder if a great Euros revitalised Gerrard or if its just down to the way he's been asked to play this season.

How is this United side nine points clear? Such a weird season.
