he's a jobber who got over because he's a geek and instead of settling for a nice month storyline, they signed him

Pretty dull Rumble, no names from the past to pop to, Joe and Balor the obvious misses.

The ending meh, Orton is fine, but its a bit dull he winning this in 2017 especially as he was never much of a draw in his supposed heyday and well he hasn't really evolved much over the years.

Roman is solid, but not feeling him whatsoever today.

Rest of the night seemed pretty good though.

Kinda funny that WWE went full cold turkey in bringing out the retired guys, but then had the part-timers have their shadows loom over the entire match and come out for like 5 minutes near the end.

It was better than the recent ones, that's for sure

I was hoping for Kurt Angle to come in at #30. Knew it wasn't going to happen but can you imagine the ****ing pop?

Was a half decent Rumble. Could've scripted it better. Too much mediocrity between number 10-25.

- Not having Seth Rollins in the rumble was a mistake imo. Could've hit the HHH music after Rollins was in the rumble for about 30 minutes instead of doing it in the previous episode of Raw.
- The big names didn't last long in the Rumble which was the main setback
- Could've highlighted Corbin, Ambrose a bit more than they did

Or maybe it was just the hype of having so many starts and hefty personalities which raised the expectations and made the actual event look a bit meh as compared to the aspirations.

yeah, as always, the HHH-Rollins thing is bewildering. You have him takeover NXT, and even before the rumble starts, you say that Seth and Steph are gonna talk it out tomorrow night on Raw. ****ing have Seth come out at like 16 or something, have HHH walk in through the crowd and eliminate him or something and bam. something at least
