Matt Elliott has had his ups and downs with this club but he's been horrifically bad in his decisions this year. Our team this week had to be one of the worst selection **** ups I've seen at my club considering who we had available and that's saying something.
Fighting for peace is like screwing for virginity.
Too many bones, not enough CASH!!
The juggernaut stirred last night with a last gasp win over the Cowboys. Well played Luke Burt in breaking the great Brett Kenny's try scoring record.
Couple of great try savers from captain Hindy last night too. Good stuff from him. A desperately needed win.

#408. Sixty three not out forever.
Doubt it will happen though. Why would Gower spend all this time in Union only to go back to League months before participating in the pinnacle of his adopted game?
Geez the man could party though.
Craig Gower - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Product of a bygone era ol Gowie.Gower was fired as Panthers captain in December 2005, after incidents at a charity golf event where he argued with several guests, groped the teenage daughter of former league player Wayne Pearce, chased Pearce's son with a bottle before vomiting on him, streaked nude around the resort, stole and crashed a golf cart, held a butter knife to the throat of a Sydney radio personality before throwing it at resort guests, and engaged in a brawl with resort security before being ejected from the official function and detained by police.
I'm a Roosters fan and I'd root for Gower in that blue. What a man he was.
Eels denied that they are interested in Gower. Why I dunno - they BADLY need halves.

Yeah, if they go for washed up blokes like Webb, McGuire and Walker...surely Gower is worth a punt. He's a good player who fills a gaping void in their team.
Could be a host of reasons why they say they don't want him. They may think Gower won't be worth what he will be asking. They could be looking to save cap space to make a play at a big name in the off season (though from memory Chris Sandow is the biggest name half to come off contract this year ). They could be REALLY confident that Mortimer will turn into an NRL standard player. Or maybe they think the Collector won't be able to stock enough booze for the guy. Last but not least, they could be lying.
The word out there is Adam Blair will go to Wests Tigers on a three year deal worth $1.5m Craig Bellamy expects him to be going, and TBH I would be surprised that he will stay at Melbourne when he has been offered such crazy money, and I'm surprised that the Tigers have cap space, given that Chris Lawrence recently re-signed for more then $300k a year. I doubt they would be rorting the cap (or least hope not) as it would be a massive leg up for the AFL.
But seriously, Adam Blair, $500k a year, WTF?
In other news, it looks like on Monday it will be announced that Nathan Friend has signed for the Warriors.
Yeah that's Jarryd/Benji money. No way Blair is worth that.
My Red Hill operatives have confirmed that Bennett will not be back at the Broncos.
Also some mutterings that Griffin has been appointed for a further two years!
Why sign him to such a deal? He's hardly in demand.
Let this year play out, and then make an informed call.
Thought they would have learnt that lesson after re-signing Ivan.
Geez, not many would have picked that.
It really is turning into a bit of a sideshow though.
