Haha, Aussie cyclist flips the bird at the authorities as he crosses the finish line in first place in the B final.

Thought the women's points race earlier was a thriller. Down to the wire.

Is there a finer sight in international sport than the 'ordered clinch' in greco-roman wrestling?

No imo.

Apparently a Pakistani squash player lost without playing because the dumbass didn't know he had a game and no one told him..

On a positive note however, 1st silver for Pak in wrestling.

A Caribbean 1-2-3 in the third heat of the men's 100. Callendar of Trinidad wins in 10.29, ahead of Jamaica's promising young Ramone McKenzie (1o.45), and Headley of Barbados (10.56). Another Caribbean athlete, Welsh of Anguilla, was DQed for false-starting.

Comfortable win in the fourth heat by Oshane Bailey of Jamaica in 10.36....

Another Caribbean 1-2-3 in the sixth heat, with Lerone Clarke easing to victory in 10.28 ahead of Rolle of Bahamas (10.46) and Lawrence of St Kitts (10.60).

Trinidad's Aaron Armstrong wins the eighth heat in 10.34, with Bahamian Rodney Green coming third. Guyana's Adam Harris comes second in the re-run fifth heat to advance, but the Nigerian Oghoghene looked very good. He must a contender for the gold.

Natasha Myers of St Vincent easily wins the first heat of the women's 100 in 11.34....

Ayanna Hutchinson of Trinidad struggled to come in third in the second heat, which was won by Nigeria's Osasuwa in 11.49.

Wales' O'Neill won the third heat, with possible favourite Harrigan of the BVI comfortably second, and Reece of Barbados third. Jamaica's Thomas was unsurprisingly run out of it....
