The league is marketed as the EPL internationally. Not the fault of the fans who pay subscription fees and stay up late to watch the league. Its the fault of the stations/media and the league if they are allowing it to be marketed that way.

Yeah Jono, that's fair enough, I think it's annoying though because there is no 'English' in the title of any of our competitions, or governing body. So it's not an accurate abbreviation.

Mind you, it's also not been the Premiership for a few years now but at least it was once.

I'm with grecian in some ways, it's Division 1, but then my boys would drop from 1 to 3 so maybe it's a good thing

Yea probably it's going to be Newcastle I think, but I'll watch a few games and make a decision then.

If there's one thing the world definitely doesn't need, it's more Newcastle fans.

    Nah, good man Manan!

My mate has started following QPR this off season, which I'm excited about. Just a pity that they're gonna sell Taarabt straight off the bat...

Affirmative. Although they're dire, think Manchester United if United signed all the best players in the league.

Didn't Bayern just sign a bloke from some really obscure lower league club?

A small gain on the plus side, one more person who hates Mike Ashley.
