You're just making this up as you go along. Underinvestment might be a problem in a club that's banking massive profits. Or it might not be. "Banking massive profits=bad" is what you said before, and it's the complete opposite of the truth.

Fairly sure there are FA regulations about not running clubs for profit. I agree with GF.

There are regulations regarding what you can do. You can't, for example, take over a club, sell all its players and assets then close it down for a quick profit.

But there's no "limit" as such on how much money you can make from one, so long as it's run fairly. Besides, PLCs have to make profit by law.

I'm not denying that they deserved it. I was more commenting on the complete direness of our performance.

As for Rooney, hearing that he's not travelled with the squad because he is not in a fit state to play after a super injunction was listed against him on Friday. So apparently we'll be reading more about him soon.
