Michael Chang wasn't even close to being consistently top 2. Rafael Nadal is a much better choice, the best No. 2 in history, spent over 4 years in the top 2, and only 46 of those weeks at No.1. Some of his point totals at No. 2 over that period exceeded what many No. 1's have managed.



Chang was very good though, an underrated player.
