Brad McNamara @bbuzzmc
Will say this once and then nothing else. Defamation laws quite clear in Aus.be careful.
He called for the CEO to go from Melbourne. Chairman too iirc.
Last week he said some half cocked thing about Micky Arthur, basically pandering to the bogan audience (Robbo his biggest cheerleader) and he also said something which was just totally irrational (which escapes me annoyingly).
Tonight when he was saying Thomas should have suspended (which is fine if he thinks that) he just failed to address the actual rule. He failed to acknowledge the elements of the rule (objective) and he failed to mention that the way Thomas went at the ball (did not leave the ground, didnt not lift elbow etc etc) was not comparable to any incident that has been found guilty of the offence in the past.
Instead he was too busy frothing at the prospect of finding a hobby horse to go on about every week. I can see next week someone getting done by jumping into a player and clashing heads and Gerard saying "THIS IS DISGRACEFUL DOUBLE STANDARDS!"
He's just on the decline and the only thing I can put it down to is hanging around Robbo too much.
Parmi | #1 draft pick | Jake King is **** | Big Bash League tipping champion of the universeCome and Paint Turtle
I can't believe Ollie Wines has come straight from the TAC cup. Looks like he's played a hundred games in the VFL/WAFL/SANFL
**** sake Paul Roos... Look at the stats, north flogged Collingwood at scores from stoppages. Leaving Swann and Pendlebury had nothing to do with them losing. Not being able to use the ball coming out of defence/going forward lost the game.
Jesus Christ Paul Roos. **** sake.
Pedersen getting crucified on every show. Brutal!
one game at melbourne and he's turned into a whip
Holy **** at Mick's comments On The Couch. Basically just told Eddie to gagf he ain't ever coming over for dinner.
old man mick just playing hard to get.
Literally every AFL show - 360, On The Couch, Footy Classified - all extremely surprised Thomas got off.
i thought he might be in trouble for the whole off the ball bump thing, but not the head clash thing (i had no idea how that was gonna be judged and i'm not really sure how anyone could have. it was a fairly unique incident). heath hocking got done for a off the ball bump to the body last season, but obviously they ruled the bump was in play so that wasn't happening to thomas.
