Man Melbourne screwed up here. So many teams have tanked and have not been stupid enough to make it clear that they were doing so.

Would be hilarious if Brock McLean and Dean Bailey took down the club after leaving through their comments, lol.

The AFL have to take some blame for putting their heads in the sand over the issue for too long. It was a case of it being totally irrational for Melbourne to not have had such a meeting due to the rewards on offer for failure.

Reports say Israel Folau leaving the Giants and AFL. Will return to the NRL next season.
