Was going on about how the GWS are looking better and they will win (this was while they were up by 20) and then when the dees start coming back and hit the front (or maybe just before they hit the front) he sends out a tweet "Result irrelevant".
What the **** is that garbage? Try telling the fans that the result is irrelevant. Try telling the players who have had their confidence shattered that the result is irrelevant.
He didn't comment on Melbourne's last quarter at all.
I don't mind that he thinks Neeld needs to go. But actively hoping they fail so he can be proven right, or being sour when they do something good is not on.
Melbourne weren't impressive at all for the first 3 quarters, say that, say that GWS were good even, but at least have the balls to say Melbourne responded impressively in the last quarter and that whatever Neeld said at 3/4 time worked, not just talk about how GWS are young and tired etc.
He's gone from calling it as he sees it, to calling it and barracking for it to turn out in his favour. It's just ugly to listen to.

He's alright when he's talking about something that he hasn't made his hobby horse, but once he has then he'll literally read anything into it to make himself sound correct, and back up his prognostications.
