Was packing myself at quarter time, but we finally found the No-Doz and woke up to the match. The last three quarters were pretty good, but should be giving teams a five goal head start.

Just for the haters, I'm introducing Leigh Brown watch. Tonight the Big Man chipped in with a handy:
10 possies, 5 marks, 4 hit-outs, 5 tackles and 2 goals straight, plus a goal assist (67 dreamteam points). Not a bad match for the back-up ruckman/third tall forward.

I wouldnt say he's our version of Nick Riewoldt, to pick a comparison at random, because that would be... stupid. He's a long way from the worst player going around though, is the point.

Bartel is the best overhead mark for a midfielder in the business.

Was that Jono I saw at ground level, gratifying himself to the sight of Cyril Rioli AND Joel Selwood on the same field at the same time?

Great game. Top few of the year. Classic arm wrestle.

Gutted I missed the Cats game. Hawks deserve to be in the top 8, more than Carlton.

Laidley apparently turned down the Port role. Think it's a good move especially if he's not going to head them next year. It allows Port to test one of the preferred replacements.

Fev is awesome. Riewoldt looks like he hasn't missed a game.

Just as well Rafa hadn't dropped in to catch a game after Wimbleton, or the action under the blanket on your lap might have taken someone's eye out.
