The thing about the Scotts, when they are stern it comes off really stern and strong because of the way they deliver it. Something about their voice.

Both eloquent too.
So true, they both appear to have a lot of confidence in their style of football and speak their minds. From the snippets I have seen it appears they are both quite process focused rather the pure outcome. The writers from the Hun, Robbo and Sheehan, get uncomfortable with it at times as I think they believe it's a bit of a smokescreen.

Neil Balme gave a great insight into what extra abilities Geelong saw in C Scott when on the couch last year as he described the kind of candidate the cats wanted to replace bomber. Someone who would be a manager of the support coaches, given the increase in numbers, and would be able to bring the best of this group together through collaboration rather than micromanage too far. A stark contrast with how Neeld (whose tone was reminiscent of his mentor Mick) approached his takeover, albeit from a very different starting position, feeling a need to cut/disown what went before him which in Melbourne's case caused such a rift it pulled the guts out of the side.

Yeah that's a solid smackdown.
