Be more interesting if North made finals, than the Saints IMO. While North has the ability to cause a stir in September, the Saints to me are workmanlike, and are unlikely to claim any real finals scalps.

Imagine this for a bottom 5-8:

Hawks
Bombers
Cats
Blues



EDIT: Think the Blues are cooked though. But that's a pretty strong 5-8.

Cats could be the greatest wildcard in finals history.

That's an insame bottom half

Be interesting if two interstaters finish 1 and 2 which is a strong possibility (Sydney, Eagles, Crows)

WOn't have to travel to Vic to qualify for the GF

Can see Collingwood taking one of those spots though
