The Saints worked the Crows out, like the Bombers did with the Blues, as a result the Tigers are a slight chance if they can implement the required structures to combat Adelaide simply going for numerical superiority at each contest.

We've gone to Adelaide and won before (obviously Adelaide a new team under a new coach etc.) but I really think we've come up against Adelaide at a bad time. Lot of scrutiny on them this week after their loss.

It's been mentioned by a few people that Adelaide don't work hard enough when they don't have the ball. I think they did look a bit flat last week and North just ran away from them. In that respect, footy is taking a leaf from rugby union. It's all about committing the right number of people to the contest (breakdown) so that you can strike a balance between inside and outside. If you over commit you don't have enough people for the spread but if you don't commit enough you don't win the footy. I think it's very much a by product of the tougher interpretation of the holding the ball rule. Back in the day you could get as many as you want to the contest because you could dive on it. Now when you get the ball you have to extract it.
