How did you prove me wrong? He smashed us, but we also played Garlett on him, a guy who comes up to his ankles. Doesn't change the fact he's a downhill skiier. So unworthy of two Brownlows.Haha.

With Cotchin rubbed out for three weeks I've got all the more reason to roll the dice a few more times with Shane Tuck against Deledio in the DT betting.
Also, good to see Mackenzie spared the capriciousness of the MRP. With the media beat-up led by Mark Robinson I thought he'd cop a week or two, also partly because the commentators on the radio made it sound like he'd just smacked an old woman in the chops. It was a bizarre thing to do for sure, but it was more of a crude push in the back than a tunnel.

But really, is any sports coverage any better? Ch. 7 footy with Juicy-Bruicy, David Schwartz and Hamish McLaughlin (ok, Leigh Mathews and Dennis Commetti help somewhat)? Cricket on 9 with Ian Healy, Tony Greig, Mark Nichols? Tennis (the worst IMO) with John Newcombe and Fiery Fred Stolle?
They're all dire - they either know nothing about the sport, or they do know something about the sport but know nothing about not being an annoying **** when on air.

Bruce is OK, though past his best. Dennis is obviously the standout. I don't mind Tim Watson's insight on the game, he's generally pretty spot on. Ox is absolutely dire. Worst 'personality' on Australian television aws. How he continues to get a gig in the commentary box and Watson is on the boundary is beyond me.
Australian Football telecasting peaked during the 90's and will never reach those heights again.

Just watching OWAAT aws, Darcy sucking up to Cotchin is pretty sickening itbt. It was an absolute dog act and deserved three weeks. Didn't even pretend to spoil. Don't care that it was against North Melbourne btw.
