Lol. Quarter of an hour into 3rd quarter and Brisbane still only have 9 behinds.

When was the last time a team didn't score a six pointer?

Hawkins is looking very promising now, it's about time he filled his boots. 6 goals today, with 4 in the first half if I remember correctly. His contested marking is looking stronger than ever, plus he kicked very straight which is unusual for him!

Sort of performance that makes other teams take note, I'd say.

Buddy doing the "going missing when chips are down" thang again.

If only Benchy weren't banned. He'd be tasting it so hard right now.

Other than Hawkins who has been amazing, Karmichael Hunt has to be one of the most improved players in the comp. He's been so good for the last 2-3 weeks.

Is there a shorter team in the comp than the Tigers? Even half their KPP's are midgets in comparison to most.

Bad luck Tiges.

Sydney a serious threat by the looks of things, but it's dead set wide open. Reckon Weagles will finish Top 2 now though, hard to see them being beaten at home. Back to 2005-06 style, anyone in the top few can win.

First half of the showdown was pretty entertaining. Best half of Dangerfield's career, absolute gun. Rodan was awesome too.

Round Five Tipping Update

Another good week on the whole, but some tipsters drew rather a long bow with certain calls and this is rather reflected in their scores.

Weekly

howard 8
Brumby 7
morgie 7
altoz 7
HDS 7
Jono 6
Johnners 6
Vimes 4
Spikey 3

The two leaders continue their good work and Benchy awakes from his early season slumber to claim shares of the weekly honours.

Vimes heads south with tozz and HDS climbing above our Norse challenger.

1) howard 38.03
2) skd 37.03
3) morgie 35.01
4) Brumby 34.01
5) Benchy 33.01
=6) Jono 32
=6) altoz 32
=6) Johnners 32
9) HDS 30
10) Vimes 29.01
11) Spikey 26
