No way that I can think of where a team could end on an odd number of points.

Also no real reason why they do 4/2/0 instead of 2/1/0.

One explanation I remember, and I have no idea if it's true, and no idea how one would even find out if it's true, is that it used to be 4 points divided by 4 quarters, so like, Essendon win 3 three quarters Richmond win 1, Essendon get 3 points

as soon as I wrote the post I started thinking whether it's based on who leads after each quarter, or scores more in each quarter

so i'lll just go with we have 4 points because we have 4 quarters

Western Bulldogs vs. Geelong (Docklands)
Richmond vs. Hawthorn (MCG)
Gold Coast vs. Port Adelaide (Carrara)
St Kilda vs. Sydney (Docklands)
Adelaide vs. Collingwood (Football Park)
Greater Western Sydney vs. Essendon (Sydney Showground)
North Melbourne vs. Brisbane Lions (Docklands)
Carlton vs. Melbourne (MCG)
West Coast vs. Fremantle (Subiaco)

Picking early as I'm gonna be away for a while.

So, until I'm back (assuming I can't post) can I take:

1. Home team unless
2. Gold Coast, Demons or GWS are home team, then take away team
3. If necessary Demons > Gold Coast > GWS

Heath Shaw missed 2/8 games so far in the "season", have to have Deledio ahead of him surely.

Did say that he wasn't going to be picking players where they play, and that Delidio had been a midfielder this year, so wasn't going to pick him on the back flank.

Using this a thin pretext for mentioning I beat Dr Dream Team this week.

Beau Waters, what a beautiful man. Scored me 39 in the last quarter and I edged it by 6.
