Source of this is SEN, so take with a big grain of salt, but apparently Freo have told Hawthorn they won't discuss Tarrant with them, as they are already talking to the Pies.

If he's told them it's the Pies or nothing, and given he'd only be a depth player for us, that puts us in pretty much the strongest bargaining position you can get - especially as we'd be able to veteran list him. I don't really see any need for him other than depth, but if we can get away with giving Freo a pick in the 50s, or Josh Fraser or Leon Davis, why not! :laugh:

Will be pissed if the rumours about Andrew Krakour being traded to us from GC's pre-list turn out to be true. Hilarious that people are floating that he's worth a first round pick after he's demonstrated for several years that he's a slow, soft player with poor disposal skills, but a stint in jail and a decent season in an state league means that's he's some kind of hot property at AFL level.

It's scary to think that Collingwood probably have a lot of salary space after this year and could potentially go out and buy an A grade midfielder next year if they wanted.

Reckon we should give a bit of it to Trav to stave off GC, and then go under to give us some room to bump up the guys coming out of contract, like Swan, next year to keep GWS away if we can.

Also think we should give Cam Cloke a minimum wage salary to come play in our VFL team. He's a decent VFL standard footballer, and in a pinch could serve for some depth for a key forward/ruck (assuming we're getting rid of Fraser). But mostly it would help us keep Travis.
