Looking back on the last side I did, the current one had K.Gibbs and Ben Foster in it. I must have had a few that day.

Was going to try and do a Champ Man cult XI but my brain's not working. First 2 signings i every game were Kennedy Bakircioglu and Mark Kerr.

    Fon Williams

    Holmes
    Ihieweke
    Dugdale
    Taylor

    Myrie Williams
    Jennings
    Koumas
    Molyneux

    Hume
    Odejayi

Some tough choices. Sentiment saw Koumas/Hume beat out Power/Donnelly but given the bench options - Thompson, the aforementioned two, Ridelagh, Laird, Stockton - it's no wonder some people are labelling us the greatest league 2 squad of all-time.

It's why grecian is so proud of his team's valiant defeat on Saturday.

Only know one of those on GIMH's side and that's only because he's mentioned Koumas before.

    LB: Alaba

    DM: Arteta
    CM: Ramsey
    CM: Cazorla

    RW: Müller
    ST: Reus
    LW: Özil

I always liked Iain Hume as well. Habitual scorer of long range goals iirc.

Anyway, I would have Robert Pires in every position.

Missed lots of players off from the 90s but went for those that I can remember well.
Just going with this side now tbh:

    David Button

    Moses Odubajo
    Harlee Dean
    James Tarkowski
    Jake Bidwell

    Toumani Diagouraga
    Jonathan Douglas

    Alan Judge
    Isco
    Jota

    Andre Gray

Dallas and Pritchard need to be there but I just don't know how.

CB: Phil Jagielka - Football Manager favourite
RB: Lucas Neill - Generally awesome for Australia, except for that 1 moment in '06 where he really could've done better

LM: Harry Kewell - Most techinically gifted Australia player I've ever seen. The player most responsible for getting me into Football from his Leeds days.
    CM: Tim Cahill - WAG
CM: Xabi Alonso - Always one of my fave 'pool players before last season, was stoked when he put it all together though. Shame he left
RM: Andrei Arshavin - Loved him Euro '08, and the games I've seen him played for Arsenal have been amazing. Bloke has character as well

FW: Fernando Torres - WAG Bloke's just awesome really.
FW: Raul - Scored the goal that I thought had put Spain through to the first knockout stage of the '98 WC. Been a fan ever since.
