Cricket Web: All-Time Legend
Forum name: HeathDavisSpeed
Principal's name: Heath Davis
Background: Heath has a fondness for classic cars and doing them up to look like souped up boy-racer mobiles. Fortunately, he has developed quite a knack for this and has entered this championship with the aim of hyping up his car so much that Ford restart manufacture of the Ford Cortina Mk1. Basically, Heath has taken a Ford Falcon and done it up to look like it was a Mark 1 Cortina. Sadly, Heath is far from artistic and it just ended up with the car looking a mess.
Team Name: Cortina Racing Company
Hardware: Ford Falcon Jobby with Cortina Mk1 "Ban the Bomb" tail-lights.
Factory support: no
Main Sponsor: Cialis , British American Tobacco
Driver Entries: 5, Heath Davis, CWL; 19, Ross Onwye, MAR

Is that okay? I presume you need some other drivers and ****?

A Cortina Mk I is no Group A car. We can scrap the Group A stuff (which I put in place to accomodate potential V8 lustings and which covers executive cars) and do some anything goes racing provided I get to race some CANAM monstrosity with with a fan or do some ole' timey racing, but would have to ask the others first.

Get another driver as a provisional, that would be cool.

On the other hand, if it just looked like a Cortina... yes I can see that.

Righto. I don't know what current Group A cars are. It suggests the Ford Crapi counts on that Wikipedia page, but I would guess that's the past and not current. A Cosworth would be a good substitute, but isn't exactly classy.

Like I said, maybe, if it were modified enough... a Cortina might work, who am I to judge? but you'd have to basically widen the wheelbase and make it huge. Also, no turbos. Turbos are trouble. You can have a huge engine block. And talking of current Group A, the Ford Falcon seems to fall in that category.

Anything between one and four, just name them.
Was going to see if any CW racers were keen :) If we have say 20 teams with just CW Team Principals and 2 random drivers, or CW Principal/Driver teams, less people are going to be able to participate.

Simon, no prototypes. And at least name your folks B.B. Seal or something like that.
Bit confused as to the type of cars we are allowed. If I cant have the Audi R8, how does Ripper get away with Audi TT? Is my new selection ok anyway?

To make it easier re: vehicles, perhaps limiting it to the vehicles used in the WTCC in Europe, and the V8 Supercars here in Aust? That way we all know what vehicles can, and can't be used :)

So am I. Sorry, I thought you meant the Audi R8. Turns out you meant the Audi R8.

Anyhow, there shouldn't be two different models by the same maker, and I messed up. There should only be sedans. No TT, no R8. You can have an A4 or an A6 if you want an Audi. The BMW M3 is also available.

I'll make a list, ok?

WTCC is a different class of vehicles than V8. WTCC is Supertouring, V8 is Group A and would totally outpace them. Though we can have two classes with two different scoring systems. If you like.
