Ok, maybe i completely lost the plot when posting this thread... but why is he spurs' top scorer this season with 13 if he's really that rubbish?

He's pretty good, really. 9 goals from 13 starts at a struggling club is more than acceptable.

His problem is that everyone remembers that he cost them £16 million. A lot of decent players would look useless with a £16 million tag attached.

Is in the top tean earners in the Prem IIRC

Well, he was about a year ago, imagine the likes of Robinho may have overtaken him now
